Steel Drum Band extraordinary! Pan Paradise Steel Drum Band has a collective playing experience of over 130 years! Performing classic Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Jazz, Pop, and Latin, the band has performed throughout Southern California with great success.
Steel Drummer Robbie Hutchinson is one of the few Americans to have played for many years in Trinidad’s annual Steel Drum competition. His authentic sound and creative touch makes him one of the legendary steel drummers of our time!
Robert Felcher, percussionist,has been performing for 40+ years, from New York to California, and adds the rhythmic spice that is so necessary to Caribbean music.
Kevin Cooper is a Grammy Award winning Bass Player from San Diego. His career includes recording with Major Record Labels, National television appearances, and a Broadway Show performance where he also received 4 Tony Award nominations. He performed on a Grammy Winning CD with Ike Turner in 2007. Kevin served as Ike’s musical director for over five years. He’s performed at legendary festivals including the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. In 2015 Kevin was named “Living Legend of the Year” by the San Diego Prestige Awards.
Drummer Ronnie Stuart has been a staple in the San Diego music scene for 40+ years. His family roots go back to Trinidad, home of the Steel Drum.
